From my understanding.......... the two forum systems (modern and classic) talk to each other like two people with different accents talk...with a little translation, and things get lost in that translation. In classic there is limited space for post before they drop in to history, were modern keeps them alive for longer. Now once a topic falls off of classic timeline its gone. When someone brings the topic back up top in Modern...there is no longer the connection to original post in classic so it comes up a "new topic" that then gets replies in both versions causing further disruption.
Then there are people who make a new topic instead of replying to previous post and use the Re as the start of the topic heading.
