IMHO, not fixable without a lot of work, and not worth fixing on a 20 year old truck let alone a 30 year old truck.
Unless you had some agreed-upon-value insurance you will probably get about 6 cents a pound for that truck as it sits there, from the insurance company. You're not going to get what it's worth, let alone what it's worth to you, so hopefully you carry no preconceived notions to that effect.
Also, this "the insurance company is obligated to find you a replacement (paraphrased)" is baloney, unless you have a special policy. They are obligated to pay you "average market value" for the vehicle if the vehicle is totaled, which it will be.
