We don't/won't shop anymore on Black Friday. Even online, I've been watching a few different items lately and just in the past 2 or 3 days, have seen prices jump up on these items. I have no doubt there will be good sales, but compared to what? ...And at what risk? Spend all that time and energy waiting in lines and fighting traffic, and HOPING to get what you're looking for? It's such a buying frenzy that folks get to where many don't care how much they pay, so long as they "get in on the deals"! I saw one time the last of an item in a store that several people wanted. 2 or 3 different people started throwing out offers. Highest bidder ended up paying a lot more than retail. Really stupid!

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
