Mid Morning? Bruce it is barely 7:30 here at the border. I have my grain buggy full of corn, about 14 tons, and a small truck load to go to the elevator company is 18 tons. The bin on my combine holds 4 tons and I could get that in less than an hour. The catch is that the arrival of the truck is very unreliable and my shed space is already taken up by the grain cart so if I load my combine bin I can not get it under cover if it rains or I should say, when it rains. I must say that this farming is the perfect stress free life.
I am awake every morning by 5:30 but I can not get to my PC before 7am or so because of the things that are going on at my home in the early morning. I never had any milk cows and never wanted any. I always look at your weather post because it seems to reflect the weather that I will be getting. Happy farming and sleep well.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
