My father and I farmed separately but worked together until he died. After his death my mother tried to farm for a few years but tired of it and decided to sell. I had let my leases go to help her as I had a full time factory job. I couldn't pay what the farm was worth so when it got out she was selling the community got talking. It wasn't long before a cousin let it slip that people were saying that I had lost the farm though I never saw the books to this day and all business was carried on on my mothers name. I also found out that my charge account privileges were cancelled at 2 local feed mills I had dealt with for 20 years due to people believing rumours.
