Larry, I tried to reply to your e-mail, but it kept bouncing back. The last 953 I bought 4 years ago had most of its original paint and good 6.00-16 implement tires on it. The 7x16' flatbed was made out of tongue-and-groove silo wood. Never been left outside. According to the plate on the side of the bed, it started out as a rear unload Lavelle silage box. Previous owner took the sides off. I used the stake pockets to put kicker sides on it. I paid $500 for it. It was worth it to me. The 953/963/1065 line of JD running gears were probably the best of their time.
