In the original system with the remote control valve the valve pressure inlet had a tee and pressure line from pump passed through the tee and to the liftall pressure inlet. If liftall unit was used the lever on remote valve was locked back with nothing hooked to it's outlet lines so pressure would go to the liftall unit and not circulate through valve back to pump inlet. When the remote control valve was used the liftall lever was locked back so pressure didn't circulate through it. Unit and valve have little tangs below levers for locking in place. Reason they done that was the pressure relief valve in the liftall would work in both setups. No belley pump in that tractor, just a cover on bottom for implement hookup and the remote control outlet below tee is blocked. For the priority valve to work the inlet of it needs to be the first place pressure from pump goes to. Right before remote control valve tee or between tee and hydraulic unit hooked in with tee so outlet pressure of priority valve is sent to control valve and unit under tank. Other ways to plumb also, just depends on what you want or need.

The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
