I refuse to get a "smart" phone as I carry mine in my shirt/bib pocket. I too often lean over something and pull hard. I break pens, glasses, and even cracked the case on a military grade flip phone. The screen on a smart phone would not last a week.
My son's usually do not get two months out of smart phones. Even with the fancy cases and such. They pay more for replacement phones than I do for my coverage.
