Wow, I was feeling ripped off today. The wifey had to go grocery shopping and some other errands this morning. We have a 2010 impala. She made a couple of stops and then to the grocery store. Came out from there, and car wouldn't start. There is a privately owned car repair shop at the far end of the parking lot. She walked over and told them about her problem. They sent a guy rite over and jump her car and she drove it over to their shop, and they tested battery. No Good. It was the original GM battery. They installed a new Interstate battery which cost $119.oo. Total bill including tax, $151 and change. I guess I shouldn't complain for their prompt service and saving me a 20 mile trip in my PU to start her car. and then back home again with a new bat. from my auto supply store, and then screw around putting the new one in. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
