^LOL! I know a guy that has worked in a service station for almost 40 years. If you have a question about oil, he either knows the answer or can get it for you real quick. So a couple of years ago, he overhauled his John Deere B and I was there admiring it. One of the final questions that I had for him was the type of oil that he had in the crankcase. "ND 30W.", he told me. I looked at him and and asked him (with all his experience in oil, remember) why in the world he put non-detergent 30 weight in his freshly rebuilt tractor. I guess I couldn't argue with him when he said that non-detergent had worked well for 60 years, why should he changed what had worked well for him?
