First place one would have to determine market demand. No they don't wanna hear from some guy that's never going to buy a new tractor, they want to hear from actual buyers. If enough said they would be interested in a gas tractor they would invest the time and money to do it. Now look at us. We are on an old tractor page. Some here are collectors who do buy new large tractors to farm with. Others to mow lawn with. But a lot here work these old tractors because they don't want to spend for new. Maybe they don't like debt. Maybe they can't afford new. Maybe they just like messing with old tractors. 2/3rds of us are not in the new market. I just can't justify spending that much money for something I'll put 20 hours a year on. So unless there is enough demand from folks buying new stuff they are not even going to think about it. Heck look at most of the buyers of new under 100 HP tractors. Most are weekend warriors with a weekend country place, farms that use that sized tractor for chores or businesses. The weekend warrior just knows that tractors are supposed to be diesel. Can't sound cool with yer buds talking about your gas tractor. Most farmers have storage for diesel and would have to spend extra money to put in gas storage. Businesses are using em to the point that diesel isn't going away. So you have to show the manufacturers just where the demand is for tractors bigger than lawn tractors up to 100 HP. I really don't see it happening anytime real soon.

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
