Well I picked up the shop smith machine and so far really like it for the simple things we wanted it for. I made two observations 1. they must make there money selling parts and add on's 2. Used ones do not hold there value to good and can be bought quite cheap sometimes a few hundred dollars. I would definetly not pay $4-6000 for a new one. Locally the attitude is the same as on here people love them or hate them not much in between.
