Merry Christmas from Kansas! Echoing the song...No place like home for the Holidays...here in my home state. Well I’m not really at home at the MIL’s house about 25 miles away from moms house. Mom is in Houston visiting my youngest sister for the first Christmas for her newest grand son. Had my two kids here yesterday..son left this morning..and two BIL’s one with his wife and one is a bachelor. Hoping to enjoy a white Christmas here which percentage wise happens less than a Christmas without snow. I think it will stay cool enough for it not the melt before tomorrow. In the picture at the end of the sidewalk is my new 2017 Explorer with Minn. plates I got in October...my first new vehicle and I’m a GM guy. The GMC behind that is the married BIL from Virginia. Behind that is my daughter’s 97 Buick college car...Go KState. In the driveway to the left is the other BILs Chevy truck from Las Vegas. He has got a freezer in the back with his part of the whole grass fed beef grown by my uncle near here, picked it up from the locker yesterday. My son took part and we are taking part back to a neighbor back in MN. The two BILs cooked up a Prime Rib roast from it yesterday for last nights meal. It was very good. Hope everyone has a happy New Year!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
