Where are you driving that there are that many nails. On our farm from 1953 (first memories of my environment) I can remember only three flat tires on tractors. One was me driving our Super H backwards onto a cultivator sweep and slashing the new 7.00 16 three rib sidewall while trying to mount the two row. The second was my uncle driving the right rear on his 400 over a spike tooth drag that he forgot was where he told me to put it. The third was a goat that chewed through that same side of that same tractor's new rear tire 4 months later. I recently looked at tires and rims removed from our 350U when they wore out and rusted through. they had never been off the rims and are still on what is left of the spinouts. We have old barns, construction, and thorn apple (hawthorne) trees in abundance. If front tires, foam filling seams to work, but makes them stiff and rough riding. Slime and its workalike sealants are OK, but hated by tire repair people. New or used light truck radial steel belted snow tires are cheap. Jim

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
