I would say a minimum of $2000 but with any specialty/custom fabricated parts that need to be made for the individual application (and how much fabrication you can do yourself) maybe around $2500 - $3500. If you want a gas tractor that starts, and runs better than it ever could with a carburetor that's not that bad. A brand new gas tractor would probably cost the same, if not more than the same tractor with a diesel engine. Also a new gas tractor from any manufacturer would have a lot more stuff on it, and be more complicated thanks to the epa.
