Its not a big steer. handy for smaller jobs. Would guess 4000 would be tops but it also would depend on condition. How long has he had it. if short period I would stay away from it. If its really nice, everthing working, no leaks, all gauges working and the guy can furnish some sort of a maintentance that has been done to it as it could be worth that. There was a local deere dealer that had a nice one for 2500 but it needed tranny work. that told me there may be a problem with some parts. Do a google search on the net. check the prices of parts. the motor most likely wont be a problem finding parts but the drive chain my be. do you investigation on it before you buy it. if you have any reservations then run away from it.
