Dad bought his first tractor in 1948 , a V Case. He traded it in 1950 on a brand new VA Case and in 1957 he bought a 35 Cockshutt Deluxe. Much later a 950 David Brown, a VAC Case , and then dad bought his last tractor in 1984 , a IH 584, brand new, and boy did he love to plough with that tractor. On my own farm I first bought a 430 Case on a neighbor’s retirement auction, then I bought a new 584 IH . Then traded it off on a new CaseIH 585 with a loader, and the 430 was traded off on a 530. I should have stopped there, lol but soon I bought a 885CaseIh with a cab, then traded the Case 530, and the 585CAseIh off on a New Ford 5640 4wd with loader, fantastic tractor. Next the CaseIh 885 has to go, it was a dog, and I bought a low hour CaseIH 5140Maxum, and later put a loader on it too, another great tractor. Along the way I bought a IH W4 , a M and a super A, as well as a VA Case, a 730 Case , a 930 Case and a 1030 Case. Traded the Ford off and the 5140 CaseIH and bought two brand new Kubota tractors with loaders in 2014 a Mx 100 and a Mx 135, turned the Mx 100 in last spring on a new M6 , because the 100 was not enough tractor
