The best sealant in my opinion for the studs would be the old black #2 Permatex. Second would bč silicone gasket maker/sealer, just make sure it's all clean and dry when you put them in. Also, wait a few hours for the silicone to air dry/skin over before putting antifreeze in. Antifreeze can sneak by silicone like you wouldn't believe if not cured enough!!
