The lift just operates on 12 volts, it has a starter hooked up to a hydrolic pump and that is what lifts it. It does draw a lot of currant, and maybe that is what I need rather then the voltage? The DVR is what I am worried about, the lift works great. But again, I may just need more currant than voltage. If I have a device that works on 12 volts to 30 volts DC, what is the advantage of having more voltage rather than currant? Thank you.
