Some times people advertise to give unwanted , or unaffordable horses free to good homes, on Kijji or Facebook . So one Gal was going around and getting these horses , and taking them to her farm. Some folks would come by and see their old horses once or twice maybe , most never. Anyway this gal would feed them up , and get some flesh on them , then send them to slaughter in Quebec. She was making a good dollar at this too. One crazy lady caught wind of this , after she had abandoned her horse to this other woman, and tried to have charges brought against her for sending "her horse " to slaughter. It didn't go anywhere once the police found out she had relinquished ownership to another person , it was then hers to do with as she pleased within the law. Some people are just dumb !
