Oh man! My ultimate pet peeve!!! I see all these posts by people about how they "rescued" a kitty or doggie and their friends all laud them as HEROES of some sort. I got fed up with it and flat out asked why these HEROES didn't make a real difference and become foster or adoptive parents to the tens of thousands of in need children out there. "Oh, I can't do that!!!" Horse puckey they can't! It's just that they can't put a kid in a kennel for 2 weeks while they go to Aruba or Vegas. Makes me sick to my stomach.
