My dad always tells me of the time when he was 8 or 10 years old walking the half mile back from the woods in the dark on the field lane to bring the cows in for the night from down by the river. He said the cows were walking along ahead of him in the lane, it was pitch black. He said of a sudden the entire sky was lit up brighter than daylight. He was scared and didn't know what to do so he hid under a wagon. He said he swore it was gonna land right there next to him, but he said that he heard the next day it landed in Canada somewhere. And then he said just like that it was dark again. I wonder if the one you saw would have been visible all the way up here or not? If it was, I'm sorry I missed it. People say that you can just watch the video, but that just doesn't give you the same feeling as experiencing it with your own body and mind.
