So I decided to play around with this a bit. Daughter has my business on FB and somehow I have a personal page...know NOTHING about it. So I get all these "friend requests". Many are from people I know, like tax clients. So I decided I would "friend" several of these that I have known a long time and some of the results have been wonderful. Nice pictures of them doing things during the year. On the other hand, one of them who is a tax client, is a problem. Not doing anything intentionally to offend me, but she is a women's rights activist and a bit of a radical from my perspective. AND she hates the Donald. One horrible post after another about him. I should say, I am not a Donald fan...I voted for "not Hi!!ary". But he is the president and deserves my respect and support. Like some of what he does, not always how he does it. Now, in my business, the only people we discriminate against are the ones who do not pay their bill or are flat out tax felons. Can I click the "stop following ..." option without her finding out? Offending her could cost me thousands in lost income...don't want that. Plus, I believe in her right to her beliefs. Just not on my Facebook page. Any suggestions?

What about the hum of your refrigerator? Or the thump of your clothes dryer? Maybe the engine of your car? You hear those sounds every day, and you don't think much about them, do you. I can think of a few common, ordinary sounds in my daily life, too.
