We get them every year digging holes all over out airport (they really like living under the runway light cones). I go out a couple of times a weekend, in the summer months, with my 22 and eradicate them. They have one weakness which is curiosity. They like to stand up to see things and they're easy to spot. When you see them dive into a hole you usually wait about 5 minutes and they pop their head out to see what's going on. That's when I 'pop a cap' on them. Like playing 'Whack-a-mole'.
