Dave and others hit it on the head , and based on a few of these guys responses i would not care to do business with some of them ,so, don't take their advice if you want to stay trouble free .I like doing business with guys like OLD and JD Seller. C'mon Keith , YOU GOTTA HAVE A NAME. Surely YOU KNOW SOMEONE who Knows Him.? by a nickname or just by the area he lives in or what he does or drives or where he frequents ? ,. You Certainly Should Had got a Name or ph.numbe r the day he left 500 cash,. or did he leave you a check ?,at that , You Sir. Should had recorded his name . Most everyone has a ph.number on the chek. used to be the bank had photo record on microfish for every check that moved thru their bank. if YOU are in GOOD standing in Your Community. Your best advice will come from several ways if you ask,A trusted FAMILY Member ,OR ,Your Minister,OR your Sheriff (local law enforcement), OR a prominent TRUSTED feed, seed, fertilizer ,tractor, auctioneer dealer.. 1st off, Go talk to a friendly RESPECTED country Lawyer. T hey will suggest , check hospital, jails ,accidents , obituaries, and without a doubt direct you to probably run 3 weekly ads in 2 community newspapers describing the transaction,. KEEP THESE ADS for YOUR RECORDS , if you sell the tractor after no REASONABLE?? Response? ////One thing You Should not do : DO not GO to some modern b/s--t fool lawyer that will undoubtedly make you believe you can keep the money and sue the poor guy for triple (Damages) because of a lost sale .. There are azWHOLES out here with so called law degrees that will try to make some sheeple think the russians own My President. Just dont fall for their dum game. Always Do The rite thing.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
