The cables are like 10 ga wire the clamps are plastic :shock: I dunno how they work but they do :) I have tried them even without a battery in the car it started right up...
I need to extend my cables... I usually do about 15 starts before I recharge it even then I recharge it not because it gets low just so its ready when I need it. All my motorcycle buds tote on on there bike... I have a few small gas engines that are electric start that don't have a battery I just jump them off with the micro and use them...
