a spot, for a spot light,, its a tiny beam focused into an intense spot even at a long distance and still be a tiny spot,, totally usless for anything on a tractor.
Then there is a work light, similar to a car head light.. great for front of tractor when going down the road. and some field work. moderately long pattern, not extremely wide, but much wider that the tiny spot beam. Does not go nearly as far as a spot, but much longer than a flood.
Then there is the flood... very very wide and short. Goes about 10 feet or so, but very wide... Always great for a rear flood to show the equipment immediately behind the tractor but only goes out about 10 feet at best in a very wide pattern. This light "FLOODS" a wide area, but dimly.
I like the flood on the rear, and a driving light on the front,
And sometimes a second flood on the front to help you turn at the headlands and give you a better and wider sense of whats around you.
