I need advice on what to look for in buying a trailer to haul a small tractor (27 hp about 3500 lbs with front end loader). This is what I've learned so far: About 16ft. long, tandem axle with electric brakes, 7000 lb. GVWR, will need a heavy duty frame mounted hitch like used for travel trailers, price may go as high as $2300 but I'd like to get it for less. I've also been warned about damaging the trailer during loading by concentrating weight on the tail end. Any comments will be appreciated.
