That is about an hour north of me. Haven't dealt with him. But a 4-hour ride isn't bad if that is what your looking for. No one is going to haggle on the phone, and that's not a bad price for the area. If you don't have a rig to haul it home and he will deliver it you can work that into the deal also.
I drove that far once to look at a 1750 w/short wheelbase further up I-81 for $5500 with 6,000 hours. It ran decent and the only trouble I was the chain coupling shook a bit. Never know until you look it over and even then there are always more surprises.
