That water is probably a calcium chloride solution put in your rear tires for weight/ballast. The calcium chloride keeps the liquid from freezing. I recently had rear tires replaced on my tractor and the procedure was to pump the liquid out of one tire into a drum, remove the old tire and tube, put on a new tire and tube, and then pump the liquid back in. For the record, the guy who did the work mentioned that you have to be careful when putting both liquid and air in tires because dangerous pressures can build up. I'm not exactly sure how that happens and its probably nothing you need worry about when just adding air, but I mention it anyway. My tractor had 55 gallons per wheel which would have been about 1/2 to 2/3 of the capacity of tire. Water weighs about 8# per gallon, I'm assuming the calcium chloride solution weighs about 10" per gallon. Doues anybody out there have a better figure?
