: : I purchased a 42 Farmall H this spring. Just noticed one of the rear tires was looking low so I went to check the pressure. Got quite a surprise when what looked like water squerted out. Help! your input is greatly appreciated : Liquid ballast. In the north (and for more weight) generally a Calcium Chloride solution. If the tire splits and it sprays the tractor its INSTANT RUST! Its hard on rims, hard on tires (doesn't quite give as rapidly as air) and makes fixing flats expensive because the liquid has to be pumped out of the tube first with special equipment or else dumped to contaminate the ground. Then it costs to get it put back. I've used it in the past. Won't anymore. : Gerald
