My 550s4 gator did that and found out they had bad head gaskets. The darn thing sucked all the oil out and locked up. It was right at a year old so they would not warranty it even though Deere know there was a problem. Cost me $1600 for a new motor and now it's not shifting right another know problem but again no warranty. As soon as it's fixed I am trading it in on a Polaris.
