Two things stick in my mind from an auction more than fifty years ago. I was maybe 9 or 10 and got to go with my uncle. One was a ford 9n tractor that he was bidding on which was unusual because he rarely bid on anything. It was in good shape and he was in the bidding up to around $900. For a while I thought he was gonna buy it but it went for $1200 or so. The other thing was this lady, the wife of the owner, for some reason had an inordinate amount of facial hair on her neck and chin. Not exactly Abe Lincoln but very noticeable. Well to this day I don’t think she heard me but I turned to my Uncle and said “That lady has a beard”! Poor Uncle got embarrassed and pulled me aside and said “Shush! I know her”! Ive liked fords ever since and have my own 9n amongst my fleet now

There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
