I was supposed to get my Grand Dads farm since I was the only one who wanted to farm and was the only one that ever helped him. But it sure didn't turn out that way, I was in the military stationed in Alaska and my older brother was home on leave from Germany and talked Mom & Dad into selling it to him for a little bit of nothing. As soon (literally) as they signed the papers he took them to lunch, left them sitting in the restaurant and sold the farm and everything in the house and buildings to a buyer who cleaned out all the antiques and sold the place. Feelings were pretty hard about that too. Mom swore if she knew that was going to happen she would have saved it for me, but such is life I guess. I never got to own a place with enough acreage to farm so I have to be content with renting land to raise hay on without owning any cattle, just a couple hay burners. I'm too old now to worry about it and the brother has since passed so all is well. Keith
