JD your right about that ,even had to pay to let the rest of them screw you over. Dad would never sell me the farm. quote " What would the rest of them get if I sell you the farm", that is all I ever got from him.So after 24 years of farming the home place ,and paying it off for him, I was out. I was one vote of six , yes we all got a equal share but I was out a life time of sweat and all I ever heard was how I never did enough for Dad. Was with him every day , doctor visits, groceries, all the little errands. Sister came once a month with some groceries and a short visit ,always complaining I did not do enough. Brother lived 5 miles away ,only came by to see Dad when he wanted to borrow my equipment. One brother even said if I buy the farm ,I was to tell them who my banker was and where the money was coming from. Could of bought it for appraised value but had already payed it off once. And my wife said that if we buy it ,we would never have any peace from the rest of them. Decided she was right and went a different direction. Thanks for letting me vent.
