Have a similar situation going now, my mother is 92 and my youngest sister has been taking care of her and living in her house for many years. There are six of us siblings and all but one brother are doing OK. We understand that mom is leaving the house to my sister. That's OK with most of us, she deserves to have it, it's about the only asset that mom has left. We have our own homes and families and the sister caring for mom has basically nothing, although mom pays her a little so she has spending cash of her own. Even with that she says she will have to sell it as she doesn't have a job and can't pay the taxes and insurance anyway. We think that one brother might raise a stink about it, but he's a bum, has no job, can't keep a job, and drinks too much so he lost his driver's license permanently. He still has a cell phone (external_link phone?) and bothers all of the others with endless texts complaining about one thing or another. Mom won't even let him in the house anymore. Mom is slipping fast so this latest family drama will be playing out fairly soon.

There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
