My brother bought a Deere 1010 diesel crawler that had been through two previous owners and nobody could get it started. I tore that one down for him and found the rings to be stuck. I soaked the pistons in Benzene and only one ring on one piston freed up. I had to take a small punch and break all the rest of them up in to little pieces to get them out. You've got two different metals bound to each other. I wish you luck getting them loose without tearing it down.
