: Posted message on Oct 11 about the tractor not moving. Some suggested the gears needed lined back and to remove gear stick and line them up. Have tried this with no luck. Someone has also suggested some kind of linkage problem but they were not specific about what or where to look. Can anyone help any further?? Ruby, if the tractor is not locked up and the PTO and hydraulics work, then the engine or foot clutch must be OK, so it's either trouble with the hand clutch or something broken. I'd suspect that hand clutch first. Does the hand clutch have a good locking in feeling or is it just limp when you pull it back? When pushed forward does it have a little snap to it or is it like you're moving a dish rag or something? Can you shift gears in the transmission as far as you can tell? When the PTO turns, does it seem to have the full power to it or is it just creeping and turning? Same for hydraulic pump. The engine clutch controls everything as you probably know, the hand clutch only controls forward travel of the tractor. That's why I'm suspect of the hand clutch if the engine clutch appears to be doing its job. If there is a belt pulley on the tractor, is it turning? Have a good day sir. John
