I have a sister that is a nurse on the 3rd shift at a hospital when the time change occurs. We didn't used to change time in Indiana, but now do. I wonder what happens to her and the rest of her shift. One time of the year they spring forward and work an hour less because they are replaced by the 1st shift at their new scheduled time, but then another time they actually work an hour more because the time change simply deletes an hour worked because the 1st shift then shows up at their newly adjusted time schedule. When it was Indiana changing it's, OUR times one of my county councilman whom has a realty business in Michigan had our then governor's ear and actually traveled the state twisting the ears of legislators to get them to go for DST. In reality, he wanted Indiana to be on the same time as Michigan all year as opposed to only half a year so that he would be on the same time with his realty business all year. If I ever see that guy, ever get within arms reach of that guy, whether he's wearing his glasses or not...

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
