I grew up eating a lot of oatmeal and really like it. Then, I just did not eat it for about 40 years. No reason. Just did not eat it. About 4 years ago, my wife started buying oatmeal cookies for me and I loved them for a snack. Started having severe stomach problems and went to the Doc. He said to keep track of what I eat for a month. I got to thinking about my problems started about the time I started snacking on the oatmeal cookies. Turns out oat gluten is about the worst for problems. Quit eating the cookies and all is well. Richard
