My Uncle mowed with a cub like that. I thought it would be great to mow with until I ran it one time. LOL The house we had at that time had steep sloop in the back yard. His cub would barely pull itself up the grade let along mow very tall grass while doing it. I mowed the yard one time. I took it back to him and Thanks him for the use/tryout. I was really glad I tried his before I bought one of those under powered things.
Later my second wife's father had a cub he cultivated with. One time when we where there for a week or so I offered to help cultivate for him. I set the cultivators to a depth like I was used to with the tractors we cultivated with. The cub would not push them at that depth. The back wheels would spin/slip. They were even loaded with weights. He later traded it in a got an IH 140. Now that tractor would run with the cultivators. Nice machine for one row work.
Grand Pa love. Does your wife do ALL the work???? I just see pictures of her going at it. LOL Just had to jerk your chain.
