Look up who owns the property is a start and contact them a very good chance if they don't own the property they still will know who owns the tractor,also it may be part of an estate and the present owner or executor looks at it like junk.I knew where there was 3 tractors and a lot of equipment that had been apparently sitting for a long while,I start out one morning determined to find out the owner it was on a dead end road.I knocked on doors and finally found out the owner had died and the executors had been changed,long story etc but before dark that day I owned the 3 tractors and 8 of the pieces of equipment I wanted.Takes determination.
