Ok, let us try to get teachers to carry guns. Most won't, my sister and daughter are teachers and I am sure they won't. Okay, add a safety officer to every school, arm him, not long before someone will want to cut funding for that, most schools don't have the funding they need now for a variety of reasons. We live in a violent world. Man is an inherently violent creature. Video game, movies, the social norms we see today probably add to the pressure on kids, as well as many adults toward violent acts. But there will be some that will go into a school in which everyone is armed to the teeth and still commit these acts. And, from the research I have seen, most of the guns in northern Mexico are going across our border, drugs coming in. A large part of their problem is caused by us.
