So you own a dozen or so old guns. But you don't "need" an AR. Guess what, you don't "NEED" those old guns either. The nifty thing about the 2nd Amendment, as with all the others, is that "NEED" isn't part of a RIGHT. I don't own an AR either, that doens't mean I won't want one someday and since I'm about as much of a straight arrow law and order man as they come, why should you have the right to deny me my rights? An AR would come in handy for popping coyotes and skunks and people that might try to do me or mine harm. Why should I be put at a disadvantage when criminals don't, and will never, obey any new laws you make? Your argument makes no sense. Punish the people who aren't part of the problem and expect that to fix the core issue! Brilliant.
