Two plants are on schedule to start taking milkin 9 months, and this will be more capacity than enough to process all milk that could come forward with current quota issued, and still have room for growth. This is just a short term problem , and really not a unmanageable problem farmers can’t solve by just slowing current out put a little. It is all about market discipline. And yes butter stocks are replenished. Our blen price is down some and will most likely stay down until world price increases, as about 30% of our milk sells at world price, and the new plants will be processing many products at world price, putting farther pressure in our blend price. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but seems this is the way things are going, the whole world is a wash in milk.
