I am in the crowd that I want as little chemicals and antibiotics as possible but still economical. Spraying herbicides in a responsible manner (of which 95% of farmers I would say do) is better for the environment. For the goofies that think combustion engines are causing global warming, how much fuel is used to cultivate? How much erosion results from cultivating? And how much crop damage and compaction from cultivating?
Does that mean cultivating is evil? No, just doesn't fit everywhere and every time.
Try to find an organic cow liver. Most of them are riddled with worms. I would rather eat beef that is from an animal that was healthy when butchered and most of its life.
A lot of the organic/climate change crowd is full of contradictions. They want no-till to reduce erosion but say herbicides are evil. How do we eliminate the weeds?
Want antibiotic free animals but say the animals must be humanly raised. How is letting a sick animal remain so not cruel?
My biggest issue with the Organic crowd is them saying conventional is evil and deadly.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
