Have has same thing happen several times. I have a plow that I have sold twice and been paid both times and still sitting in the shed. There is no right or wrong answer for these situation, just personal etiquette that varies with the situation. My personal tolerance for such ends at 2 years and the piece gets resold, junked or whatever I wish to do with it.
