: Would anyone know where I could obtain a 7/32nd to 29/64ths collet part number 33282 for a Black and Decker model 6305 valve grinder? A previosly used one would be okay. Also any advice on what could be the problem in that I can't true up the valve resurfacer wheel. I start up the machine, address the wheel, then I shut it off, put a straitedge in the holder and turn the wheel by hand and it will be out of round approximetly .003" . When I try to turn a valve I get a pattern that looks like 15 shaded lines running parallel to the valve stem when held up to the light. Any ideas would be greatly appreachiated.
Sounds like a bad bearing, but here is some things to try.
1. Never turn the wheel off till your done grinding all your valves.
2. Try turning your diemond in it's holder.
3. You should be moveing the valve face acrose the wheel.
4. Thy a slower feed when dressing the wheel.
If you need more help send me an e-mail.

It wasn't the preservation of old iron since at that time, I was unaware that people even did this. It wasn't to show off my restoration skills (though I had tried my hand at a couple of old motorcycles in my teens and if I recall correctly, those old motorcycles were sold in boxes about one quarter finished). It wasn't to relive memories of Grampa, Dad or myself out on the back 40 nursing the Farmall pulling too many b ... [Read Article]
