For many folks, they spend LOTS of time posting this and that without any blowback of ANY kind. So, they get complacent and start feeling like everything they say and do is all nice and secure and such. Then when something happens and they find their info wasn't kept confidential, they get all upset and throwing blame around.
Well, not this cat! I've posted semi-private details about me on here, but nothing that I'm worried about. I share it among friends here. But if the info I post ever gets out, it's nothing that's gonna hurt me.
We're adults here. Many on Facebook and other sites are kids -- mere children. Most of them haven't been slapped upside the face with a good dose of reality yet. Boy, do they have a rude awakening waiting for them! *lol*
