Now that's downright funny! You would have preferred someone who without a doubt violated many laws over someone who may have violated some laws?
Let's put this in simple terms. If a PVT soldier gets caught mishandling the lowest level classified material (confidential, like personnel records) the A: are relieved of duties B:security clearances are pulled C: May be court martialed but will most likely be offered "non-judicial punishment" under Atrial 15 of the UCMJ and D: be separated from service.
So you would give a pass to someone who would be the commander of said PVT but allow them to operated at a much lower standard?
Go break a law that you don't know about. A judge will tell you that "ignorance of the law is no excuse" or words that that effect. Then the FBI at the time under a different administration, one on her side, decides that also doesn't apply to her?
I can understand a 4 year old, being prompted by parents who have certain leanings, saying she would rather have a known criminal in that office. She doesn't know any better!
Now that doesn't mean I like the current office holder.....I happen to like him better than the alternative.

My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
